The phenomenon of urban traces is so commonplace that, in reality, everyone encounters it. Brad Downey’s name has become closely associated with this elusive public-space phenomenon. This zine contributes to that discourse by attempting to present the various traces that Downey has documented over the years. The publication specifically focuses on traces found on ground surfaces, seeking to convey the diversity and richness of this distinctive visual phenomenon.
