Székely Nadin has spent the past three years living in a small village, where gardening gave her the opportunity to closely observe her surroundings and the subtle details of the rural landscape. Her zine, Tűvé tettem nyugalmam (“I Turned My Calm Into Needles”), reflects on her relationship with nature, as well as the experiences and observations that emerged from it.
The drawings and cross-stitch embroideries featured in the publication are further enhanced by the risograph printing technique, making the emotions and sensations evoked by nature even more tangible for the audience. The 34-page zine, printed in three - and on the cover, four - colors, is bound with a textile spine created from plant imprints.
